Taylor Battistella started his first business at 12 years of age, while attending St Kevin's College. During this time, he battled extremely irritated and sensitive acne-prone teenage skin. Having led Australia’s silk industry and learning of the power of silk in skincare he felt an obligation to take his silk to the world and develop formulations that supported silk's natural healing properties.

In 2020 he launched Seresilk with the goal of creating uniquely Australian silk skincare formulations for everybody in an effective, ethical, and super simple range using only 24 ingredients across a 4-step night routine.
